Thursday sees the inaugural PipeUp Solo invitational taking place in the Europa Hotel. The piobaireachd starts at 1pm with the doors opening for the March, Strathspey & Reel and Irish set at 7pm.
The competition entrants include: Roddy MacLeod, Andrew Carlisle, Jonathan Greenlees, Donald MacPhee, Simon McKerrell, Margaret Dunn and Bill Geddess. This is a rare opportunity to see many of these competitors play on this side of the Irish Sea.
Best of all, admission is free of charge so there really is no excuse to miss this quality piping event.
