fUSe fm 7

Yet another fUSe fm broadcast came to a successful finish on Saturday 24th July after 28 days of live broadcasts across Ballymoney and the surrounding area. This year we not only broadcast on 106.2fm but also via our website www.fusefmballymoney.com where listeners tuned in from the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, England and even from the USA.

Over the 28 days on air we received 32000 text messages from the listeners which included everything from song requests, votes for the presenters fUSeVISION songs and even the occasional joke or two.

The fUSe fm team have also been involved in several events including providing the music on 11th July at Glebeside and at the recent Dunloys festival at Castlecroft Square. fUSe fm also held two fundraisers events at Ballymoney Royals British Legion, The Groove Train and Skullduggery. All proceeds from these events were in aid of fUSe fm and the cost of running the station over the 28 days.

Again this year fUSe fm has been involved in raising funds for the Northern Ireland Children to Lapland Trust NICLT, helping to send very ill childrent to Lapland to see Santa for what could be their last Christmas. During the past broadcast we asked the listeners to donate old clothes to the centre which were sold to a All-Tex recyclers. From the clothes appeal we raised 84.33. We also held a collection during the Kingdom of Dalariada Ulster Scots games and the town dug deep and we collected 105. If you would still like to donate clothes or money to help this appeal then call or drop into the Ullans Centre

Everyone at fUSe fm would like to thanks the listeners, advertisers and sponcers who have made fUSe 7 a success and give us the opportunity to return for another broadcast at Christmas which will take place Saturday November 20th Saturday December 18th making this our 8th broadcast.

Thanks

The fUSe team
