IN celebration of their 90th anniversary, the Victoria Womens Lodge of the Orange Order will hold a short walk on Saturday, September 11.
The parade will begin at the Lodge Rooms in Bonds Street at 11.30am and will end at the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall at Society Street.
Over 300 women will take part in the parade and will be accompanied by two bands.
The parade will be led by the Shankill Road Defenders.
Sisters from all over Northern Ireland will partcipate in the walk and the women of Victoria Lodge will be joined by their sister lodge, Coatbridge LLOL 73 from Scotland with whom they have enjoyed a close relationship for many years. The parade will be the first time a womens Orange Order procession has taken place in Londonderry for 13 years.
